Accelerating Quote Generation for Sheet Metal and Mechanical-Welded Assemblies

ALDEM and APPLITEC form a manufacturing group of approximately 60 employees specializing in subcontract sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, bending, mechanical welding, and surface treatment. The company produces everything from simple laser-cut components to complex mechanical-welded assemblies for industrial customers.

Before implementing almaQuote, ALDEM relied on outdated quotation software that could not import 3D models and was only understood by one employee. Quoting complex mechanical-welded assemblies required extensive manual work and significantly delayed customer response times.

In 2017, ALDEM selected almaQuote to modernize its quotation process and improve responsiveness to customer inquiries. The software provided fast processing of DXF files, 3D part and assembly import, and a more intuitive quotation workflow.

ALDEM uses almaQuote for all quotation activities, processing between 300 and 400 quotations every month. The software enables rapid quotation preparation through DXF import, CAD tools, sheet metal unfolding, and assembly management.

The implementation of almaQuote dramatically improved quotation speed and operational flexibility. Multiple employees can now generate quotations, allowing ALDEM to respond much faster to customer requests while significantly reducing quotation lead times.
